We had an errand to run and then got to go to a park, play some pickle ball, and grab some dinner. Not a special occasion but great time together.
Sometimes we’ve gotta spend time together just because.
Psalms 48:1-2 says, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.”
Verse 10 says, “According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.”
This psalm does mention some specific ways that God helps people, but I love the verses that just reflect on how good God is even apart from specific help for specific situations.
Let’s make sure there’s more to our relationship with God than the next answered prayer. Let’s take time sometimes to read our Bible and pray just because.
