Jen found this soda and realized immediately that something was off! It was only about a third of the way full. Looked normal when I poured it out, but I didn’t drink any.🤢
Life has a way of making us feel as empty as that Coke can sometimes. But the Bible offers us amazing encouragement.
Jeremiah 2:13 says, “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.”
So where’s the encouragement?
That verse makes it clear God wants to fill our lives with amazing purpose, hope and truth.
And we don’t have to find something else to fill our lives with. That’s the most frustrating search ever! Much better to come to God for our deepest needs.
