The pull of gravity can be overcome…sort of! The water leaks through each hole until the bottle is dropped. Then the water stops flowing out.
The pull of wrong influences can also be overcome.
Psalm 12:8 says, “The wicked walk on every side, When the vilest men are exalted.”
We often get more of what we exalt. Whomever or whatever we honor and lift up will often grow and increase. We see that in the popularity of different sports over the years as well as so many trends that go around social media. And sadly we often see it in sins that become accepted and even honored.
What are you exalting in your life? When we intentionally exalt Jesus, we’ll see His influence increase in our lives and come through us in what we say and do.
