Psalms 86:17 says, “Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.”

After a crazy morning at church that ended with an ambulance ride for one member, I got to talk about this verse with another member and how it really is amazing how God will reach down with encouragement right when we need it. 

Then on the way back from the hospital  tonight before our evening service, God blessed with this amazing view and reminder of His presence and power (and wouldn’t you know it, that billboard is about the hospital I was coming from!). Our church member is doing much better. I don’t believe in looking for deeper meaning in every circumstance, but I do believe God loves us enough to remind us He’s there and show us He’s still on the throne.
