I had heard about the Northern lights but had never seen them for myself

Beautiful thing for much of the East Coast to see on Thursday night!

I knew they were real but it was fun to see them for myself.

Have you ever wished you were alive a couple thousand years ago and could have seen Jesus with your own eyes? While it would have been amazing to witness His miracles and even His resurrection, we have more than enough Bible and more than enough evidence to see Him through eyes of faith today.

Whether we wanna admit it or not, we are as close to Jesus as we choose to be. It’s never been an evidence issue. It’s always been a heart issue, a choice, a decision.

Luke‬ ‭7‬:‭19‬-‭22‬ says, ‭“And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.”‭

We need to put in the effort to remember in the dark times what we knew in the daylight. John the Baptist was going through a horrible time. I don’t blame him for struggling with doubts; I’m just glad he took those doubts to Jesus.

What we do with Jesus always comes down to a heart issue.
