Why’d the chicken cross the road?

To get to the TACOS! Great reason in my opinion, but I hope that food truck doesn’t serve chicken tacos!😳

We can’t always understand motives for why people (or chickens) do what they do, but with God’s help, we can know what to do even when we don’t understand everything that’s going on.

Ezra‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭says, “Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.”

‭‭

Many Jewish people had returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. It sounded like these other people wanted to help them, but they just wanted to stop them.

Ezra 4:12 says, “Be it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad city, and have set up the walls thereof, and joined the foundations.”

We don’t have to have perfect discernment when we listen to the leading of our perfect God.

So when was the last time you asked God what He thought you should do about something?

How recently has one of your decisions been affected by something the Bible says?
