Sometimes we just need to see things from a different angle. Honestly, I planned to climb higher and get a better view, but heights scare me! Thankfully the Bible offers solutions for whatever worries we face.
Philippians 4:7 is a verse I’ve been coming by back to a lot lately: “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Peace that passes (as in surpasses, goes beyond) understanding.
When peace takes the lead, we don’t need to let worries catch up. We shouldn’t reach back for worries.
I think sometimes we check to make sure our worries are still back there even when God is taking care of them and giving us peace.
“Could I worry about it” needs to become “should I worry about it,” and the answer is always no because Jesus has it under control.
With peace that only God can give, we can rise about worry and stay there.
