Which way? 😳

Georgia to the north from Pennsylvania??? We had a good time hiking a bit of the Appalachian Trail recently, and I do get what the sign means (since it’s a Maine to Georgia trail). But some directions are confusing.

In Job 23:8-10, Job says this about God: “Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

As difficult of a situation as Job was in, it was exactly where God meant him to be…for a little while. It was exactly where God was bringing about things for Job’s good and God’s glory.

Sometimes we’re waiting to see where God is moving us and He seems silent because He wants us to stay not go.

Sometimes we’re asking God how He’s going to change our circumstances and He seems silent because He wants to change us right where we’re at instead.

We might need to endure, stay faithful , and grow right where we’re planted.
