What do you do when you come to an obstacle? Give up? Go around it? Climb over it?
Jen and I climbed over that downed tree the other day and kept enjoying our hike. It would’ve been silly to turn around and give up.
And it’s just as unnecessary to give up when life throws a setback or an obstacle our way.
Psalms 145:14-15 says, “The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. 15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.”
God’s help really is available to everyone, but sadly not everyone takes the time to look to Him and to trust in Him.
We can keep going even when we run into roadblocks and setbacks and failures, as long as we look to God for our next step and the strength to take that step.
