It’s not too late

Do you like to get places early, right on time, or late?

I hate being late to anything! It. Just. Seems. Wrong. No worries if you disagree…as long as I’m not going somewhere with you😏

While I don’t like to be late, I’m very glad that it’s not too late to change.

2 Kings 21 and 2 Chronicles 33 record 29 verses about all the evil and rebellion and wickedness that king Manasseh did, and then it all changes in just a few verses.

‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭33‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭says, “And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.”

It’s easy to look at that and think “That’s not right! He didn’t deserve forgiveness and hope after all that wickedness.”  And that’s the point. Salvation isn’t based on us.

Who we were might be based on us, but who we become can be based on Jesus if we’ll let Him change us.
