As we were closing things down after our Sunday evening service, we spotted this on our livestream program! Mrs. April’s decoration looks great in the light and apparently resembles a ghost in the semi dark (at least to me 😁).
I’m glad ghosts aren’t real and that we don’t actually have a ghost in the church. But the Bible does talk a lot about our spirit—who we really are even when we put on a front on the outside.
Psalms 142:3 says, “When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path.”
Faking it doesn’t fool God, and it’s not even necessary to begin with. I’m glad we can be real with God and don’t have to put on a front. Let’s be honest with God about our needs and struggles.
God sees you, the real you, and He loves you and wants what’s best for you.
