That’s what Addison said when one of their water bottles fell into the pool.
I immediately wondered how a water bottle could float…in water!
It must be the plastic bottle that surrounds it and makes it lighter.
John 17:15 says, “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”
Surrounded by God’s love, hope, peace, and salvation, we can stay afloat even in this crazy, sinful world.
So if we’re struggling to stay afloat, maybe we need to fill our lives with more of God instead of more of the world.
Maybe more loving and less selfishness. More forgiveness and less bitterness. More building each other up and less tearing each other down through gossip and hate. More truth and less lies.
More of God and less of the world…that’s how we stay afloat!
