It doesn’t take much

We’ve done baking soda and vinegar volcanoes and ziplock bag “bombs” (I promise no one got hurt!😳). But this time we wanted to see if the reaction would bubble up with with just a little bit of vinegar. It worked! It only takes a little bit to get a reaction.

Ephesians 4:31 challenges us to “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:”

Maybe the key word of that verse is “all.”

It doesn’t take much bitterness, much unforgiveness or unchecked anger to cause a real problem in our lives.

The very next verse says, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

It takes big grace to forgive those who don’t deserve it and to respond wisely even when we’re burning up with anger. Thankfully God gives big grace. Just look at what Jesus did for us on the cross and the forgiveness He offers even though we don’t deserve it.
