What’s in your go bag?

Some people have a bag packed just in case an unexpected adventure pops up. Some moms keep a bag by the door in case their baby makes his or her appearance at any moment. For me, I’ve gotten to pack up that backpack for a couple trips recently, and I often get to fill it with object lessons and go preach to kids and teens at different places.

Don’t know if each day or each week looks about the same for you or if every day is kind of an adventure, figuring it out as you go.

Either way, some things need to always go with us wherever we go. Here are 2 great things to start with.

We need God no matter where we stay or where we go. We need to find Him, His love, guidance, and direction, every day.

Psalms 63:1 says, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee

in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”

We also need to worship anywhere and everywhere (yes, worship is for more than just Sundays!).

1 Chronicles 16:29 says, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” Has your worship, your lifestyle, given to God the glory He deserves today?

Whether each day is kind of routine or kind of crazy, we can trust “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8).
