I know, kinda cheesy, right! But taking time to remember is important.
Exodus 16:32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
Time after time God came through for the people of Israel. Problem after problem was no match for God. He used the 10 plagues to deliver them from Egypt. He miraculously led them with a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire. He parted the sea and destroyed the Egyptian army. He gave them manna and water from a rock. And yet it was so easy with each new challenge and problem to complain.
That sadly reminds me of myself sometimes. Instead of complaining, we can choose to remember what God has already done for us. We can choose to trust God for THIS problem as we celebrate and remember what He’s already done for us during THOSE problems.
