Geodes take time to form and a lot of time to break open…at least for us! We didn’t count how many times we hit that thing with a hammer, but it was A LOT.
Some processes take time, but we have to keep going if we want to see what’s at the end.
Near the beginning of the time when God freed Israel from EgyptIan slavery, they hit a setback. Exodus 5:22-23 says, “And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? 23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.”
The very next verse says, “Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.”
We don’t need to question God after step one of a long process, but it’s so easy to do just that.
Moses couldn’t see the whole process and lost sight of the purpose of God’s plan. God reminded Moses of what He was going to do, and Moses moved forward.
No matter what step we’re on or what the process looks like, we can trust God to see us through all the way to the end of His plan.
