The school year should matter to us all because what happens in schools shapes our cities and our country for decades to come.
Whether it’s the school year or some other challenge, it’s a lot easier to face when someone’s got your back.
Isaiah 41:10-12 says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.”
Israel’s enemies were big enough to mess with them but not with Israel’s God!
Satan has a plan to ruin this year, to make it a miserable time that moves everyone farther from God. But God has an even bigger, stronger plan to use this year in the life of every student, faculty member, parent, and person in general. Let’s join in prayer that this school year, these next 9 months, will be a time of academic and spiritual growth.
