Apparently even good photo opportunities come around once in a blue moon! Clouds blocked our view, so I had to borrow this pic from calendarr. com (I think it’s actually from a previous year!🤦🏼♂️). But some things that are rare shouldn’t be.
Hebrews 2:3 says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;” If it’s rare for you to think about God, I hope you’ll take this chance.
If you only come to church on Christmas and Easter, thank you for coming. But I hope you’ll come more often because God has great stuff for you all year long.
Above all, I hope you’ll experience the love, mercy, and forgiveness that only Jesus can give.
And if you’re a Jesus follower, are you neglecting to share the good news with others? Or watering down the truth to blend in and not offend anyone (even though it’s the one truth we all desperately need)?
I hope God is a part of each of our lives a lot more often than once in a blue moon!
