How to know what’s real

I saw this on a reel and had to try it! Easy way to make a hologram with just an icee lid and an iPad. Brooklyn and Addison enjoyed their icees, and it’s a great reminder for when we’re worried about things that might not be any more real than that hologram.

Psalms 91 gives us a great way to look at what’s real and what isn’t.

Verse 1 says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

We can’t see God, but we can see what He does. He’s there! He’s active and He cares!!!

Verses 5 and 7 says, “ Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;

nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side,

and ten thousand at thy right hand;

but it shall not come nigh thee.”

Most of the things we worry about won’t ever even happen. But worry is linked to a whole bunch of health issues. Instead of worrying ourselves sick about stuff that might not even be real and might never happen, let’s trust God.

Verse 8 tells us something we CAN see all around us: “Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.” Only God’s way offers real hope and protection. After all, when we’re in God’s will, nothing can touch us without His permission, and He’ll take everything and use it for our good. That’s REAL hope we can hold onto!
