It’s been a tough day. Our car wouldn’t start (probably just needs a new starter, fairly routine/normal), but then our sweet puppy was hit by a car and died. Been an emotion, difficult day, but it was a lot easier with good people helping and going through it with us. If I try to list everyone who helped, offered to help, or gave a kind word, text, or prayer, I’d forget someone, but thank you to all who have helped. Life gets hard, but it is much easier when we don’t have to face it alone.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” We are stronger together. When one of us gets down, everyone else can help them back up. No one should ever have to struggle alone.
And the best threefold cord consists of us, those supporting us, and Jesus Himself Who loves us more deeply and perfectly than anyone else possibly could.
We might get hurt and wounded, we may struggle and feel like giving up sometimes. But together we can keep going and not be broken.
