“I’m not letting anyone push me around!”šŸ˜

We might’ve gotten some weird looks while doing this! I sat down for a moment while Jen and the girls looked at stuff, and then why not see if the girls could push me down the row?!? Fun times (and they did a great job of pushing the cart)!

It’s easy to think that we’re free, that no one is pushing us around, even when we’re trapping ourselves in wrong decisions and bad habits.  True freedom isn’t free! It takes a fight.

I definitely appreciate the sacrifice made by so many men and women over the years as they’ve fought and died for our freedom in America. I think we should do everything we can to remember their sacrifice and honor their memory by enjoying and even defending true freedom.

Romans 6:16-17 says, “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.” Through the sacrifice of so many soldiers we enjoy American freedom, and through Jesus Christ, we can enjoy true freedom from sin.

There are times when we have to take a stand against wrong, and that needs to start by taking a stand against wrong in our own lives. Instead of letting sin and temptation push us around, let’s always remember that true freedom should motivate us to do what we SHOULD do, not whatever we want to do.
