Better after the fire!
Whether it’s a hot dog or a marshmallow, a lot of food just taste better when it’s cooked over a campfire! And some of our best family times happen around that fire as well. Sometimes a little fire is what it takes to make something better.
1 Peter 1:7 says, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
If God choses to allow a “trial by fire” into your life, invite Him to use it to burn away the not-so-important things so that the most valuable things can shine out.
