I dare you to try this sometime and see how long you can keep drinking before you need to breath. We might get enough of a drink eventually, but for some things, I’m glad the supply never stops.
Psalms 23:5 says, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” If we take even just a moment to stop and think of everything God’s done for us, I think we’ll all agree that our cup is filled to the point of overflowing! He gives us more good things than we ever thank Him for and way more than we deserve. The next time you’re discouraged or depressed, take some time to think of everything God has done for you and given you. It may not make everything OK, but it will assure you that you’re loved and not alone.
But if you feel like you don’t know what I’m even talking about right now, take time to look at what you’re pouring into your life. Have you moved your cup, your life, so far from God that He can’t pour any blessings in? Come to Him. I promise God has plenty to give, a supply that never runs dry!
