Anyone else spend a lot of time in the toy section?!? I’ll admit that I’d rather watch the girls have fun than actually shop (or follow my wife around while she shops 😏). Addison called me over because she found something she thought was amazing: If she pushed a button on the toy in the middle, it made those other toys light up and talk as well. These toys are designed to be connected…and so are we!
Ephesians 2:18-19 puts it this way: “For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;” If Jesus is your Savior, you’re part of an amazing family. Just like a human family, that connection is meant to help us up when we’re down and make the good times even better.
Romans 12:15 challenges us to “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.” When one of us hurts, we all hurt. When one of us wins, we all win.
