Morning routine! Those rabbits depend on me. If I don’t make sure they have water each day (or defrost it on these cold mornings 🥶), the rabbits won’t have what they need. A lot of people depend on us for even more than that. Our faithful, day-in, day-out obedience to God can have an eternal impact.
1 Peter 2:12 says, “Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.” If we live right each day in front of those who currently reject Jesus, we just might win them over.
Verses 13-15 say, “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:” We can silence our critics and change their minds by simply continuing to do what we’re supposed to do each day
Even when we don’t see it, people are depending on us, and our faithfulness can make all the difference in the world (or at least all the difference in their lives!).
