One of my girls smiling at me can sure make my day! It also makes my day that they are getting a CHRISTIAN education! It’s such a blessing that Addison gets to see God’s fingerprints that are all over science as she spends time “Enjoying God’s World”! Many people look at science or the world around them and overlook or deny all that God has done, but they are really missing out on a great secret to happiness.
Psalms 118:24 says, “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” The first part of the verse is the key to the second part. When we recognize that God is the Creator and in control of everything (including this day), we can have joy no matter what. God knows about every single thing you’re going through and dealing with, and He’s powerful enough to bring you through it and to bring good out of it. If we remember this “secret to happiness,” maybe people will look at us and wonder, “How are they always so happy?”
