It’s been said that the only thing constant is change, and the leaves on the mountain behind our house seem to agree! But even as those leaves change for fall, I’m thankful that the message of salvation through Jesus stays constant. That cross got put there last summer, and I’ve enjoyed seeing (and photographing) it during sunny days, moonlit nights, storms, and now fall colors. The cross simply stays there, the same all the time, and Jesus’ offer of salvation does too.
Acts 4:12 says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Salvation through Jesus is needed by all, and praise God, it is offered to all, available to all.
And for everyone who has trusted Jesus as their personal Savior, He offers constant hope, peace, and joy, something definite to hold onto no matter what else changes.
