I don’t think splash pads are quite as popular in the winter for some reason! We had a great time in Charlottesville the other week, and I think the bathrooms are still for Covid (not winter!) 😏 I don’t think we would go near a splash pad in the cold months, but I love that the girls are right there in the middle getting water dumped on them in the summer.
In the same way, we can grow no matter what season of life we find ourselves in if we dive deep into the Bible and let it look deep into our lives as well. Psalms 1:2-3 says, “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” It’s easy to let a busy or difficult season distract us from the Word of God. It’s also easy to be satisfied with just a few drops from the Bible instead of the deep showers of blessings God has for us. But God’s fullest blessings are for those who will go deep with Him, those who are willing to dive right into the middle of life with Him, no matter what season of life they’re in.
