We Never Outgrow the Need for Help

Fun hike down to the river yesterday! The girls don’t need to be carried on hikes like they used to, but they still like a hand to hold during tricky or scary parts (Lundys don’t like snakes and often see them in the woods!). During part of the hike, Brooklyn and Addison thought we needed turn back, but Jen and I knew they could do it WITH OUR HELP.

God loves us and knows that we need His help. Psalms 103:13-14 says, “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. 14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

God isn’t calling you to go through the hard things in your life alone. He knows we can make it through those things WITH HIS HELP. We never outgrow our need for help, but sometimes we forget how much we need Him and start to move away from Him. Those are good times for a U turn.

Thankfully we don’t have to go through life alone. Ever. If you’ve never begun a relationship with God through faith in His Son Jesus as your Savior, I’d love to tell you how you can! And if you have that relationship, you can rest assured that God’s got you. He’s eager to walk through life with you, whether that means helping you along or carrying you over a rough section of the path.
