Time in the sun leaves a mark (at least when you almost always wear a watch). And just for the record, the picture of Jen’s arm (and this devotional) was Jen’s idea.
Time with the Son Jesus Christ also leaves evidence.
Psalm 75:6-7 says, “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.”
I hope and pray that our lives are marked by time with God and time seeing what He wants to do in and through our lives, not time with us grasping for everything we can become on our own. We need His vision and plan for our lives, not our own.
