I’m so very thankful for everyone who came out to our church workday! We got a lot done inside and out from adding playground mulch, spring cleaning, painting, organizing, and packing Easter eggs for an outreach event.
We enjoy our playground and freshly painted rooms. We enjoy so many comforts and opportunities as a church. But if we can’t worship without those things, we won’t be able to genuinely worship even with them.
Luke 21:5-6 says, “And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
The beauty of the temple wouldn’t last and it never mattered as much as God anyway.
John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
No matter what you’ve got, use it to worship God from your heart today.
