The red light is always there but only shows up under certain conditions.
What’s on the inside for us will be revealed under different circumstances as well.
This morning I was praying, “God, help me accomplish what You want me to today” when I felt led to changed it to, “God, help me be who You want me to be”
We are human beings not human doings.
If we’re who we are supposed to be on the inside, we’ll accomplish what we need to on the outside as well.
And one of the keys to that is to simply follow our Leader.
Psalms 23:1-2 says, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”
There’s lots to do but nothing more important than following the Shepherd.
Today I also heard a singer on Christian radio sing, “I know who I am ‘cause I know Who You are.”
When our identity is in Jesus and we follow Him, we’ll be who we were made to be and stay right where we’re supposed to be.
