At this point they were done and playing a game while watching a little TV, but the girls did work hard on their e-learning assignments today (I’m loving the fact that their teachers have these packets ready so that students can work from home and not have to make up the snow day!).
Snow day or not, learning can go on.
And for all of us, no matter how much we know or what age we are, we can learn more, especially about what matters most.
Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Having the right view of God is the beginning of knowledge, and with that beginning, that foundation, we can keep learning.
In Matthew 11:29, Jesus tells us to “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Hebrews 6:1 says, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,”
Never stop learning. Go deeper.
Maybe God wants us to learn today exactly what we’ll need for life tomorrow.
