We often want to get a year off to a great start but a few bumps along the way don’t have to ruin things.
Acts 20:24 says, “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
Even if we quickly fail at our resolutions or our plans don’t work out like we hoped, we can still have a great year.
Everything doesn’t have to be smooth and ideal for it to be successful. If we can see God working in and through our lives, that’s success.
It’s not go until something goes wrong. It’s go until Jesus tells us to stop.
And it’s not go until we fail. We all fail. It’s keep going because Jesus keeps helping us back up.
