Ok, maybe that’s just Addison’s new toy drone, but many people are checking the skies a bit more often lately.
Whether it’s drones, politics, war, or threats of nuclear violence, it’s easy for things to trigger fear of the end times. But thankfully we can read ahead in the Bible and see not only what’s going to happen but also God’s heart during those times.
Revelation 22:17 says, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
It’s easy to be scared and intimidated by the end times and the message of Revelation. There’s definitely a focus on the judgment of those who reject Jesus. But all throughout Revelation (and all throughout the whole Bible) there is the message of hope, the invitation to come to Jesus.
We need to share the warning and sound the alarm, not just because sin is so bad but also because God is so good.
