Getting excited for tomorrow’s services!

Spent some time working on my sermon titled “What’s Really Going on Here?” and listening to a song called “O Come All You Unfaithful Ones” that Jen will be singing right before the message. We’ll sing the classic carol just before that tomorrow, but I’m so glad that God’s plan is to save imperfect, unfaithful, deeply struggling people.

The reality of what’s going on here includes Jesus coming to offer hope and salvation to everyone. And it’s only those who see their need that come to Him.

In Mark 2:17, Jesus says, “They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

It’s only us needy, imperfect people who get to be part of His plan. If you’re not too busy or too perfect for Jesus, I pray that you’ll enjoy all He’s done for you and all He offers you this Christmas season and all year long.
