See what’s really going on

I enjoyed this foggy view the other morning. It’s beautiful to see fog cover a field or valley, but fog is only one of many things that can make it hard to see what’s really there.

Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭35‬-‭36‬ ‭says, “And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter? Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.”

Paul knew. He saw what was really going on. He knew where those people were spiritually. But he also knew where they could get through Jesus.

In many ways America is a worshipper of materialism and ease. But that doesn’t mean we can’t change! There’s still hope, and His name is Jesus.
