Let’s make it a Happy Thanksgiving!

We’ve had fun with this thankfulness banner at church for the past month or so. We have a lot to be thankful for, and people wrote down some great blessings.

Things aren’t always easy, and we all gong through some tough times. But we can always choose to make things better or worse, to complain or contribute.

Philippians 2:14-16 says, “Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”

We won’t always feel thankful. In fact, we probably all feel like complaining sometimes. But choosing to give thanks and not complain can make a profound difference in our own lives and the lives of everyone around us.
