Nope! Way too small, way too slow! The Gators have a defensive lineman named Desmond Watson that weighs almost 450 pounds! He’s a beast; I just don’t compare!
Recognizing when we aren’t strong enough is sometimes most of the battle.
It’s easy to convince ourselves that we’re strong enough on our own, that we can handle it without God (whatever “it” is in our life right now), but really, we all need some help.
Thankfully that help is available through God.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
We aren’t victims. Through Jesus we are victors. Through His strength and leadership we can overcome, keep going, and make progress over any temptation, stronghold, and sin.
Do you have some specific Bible verses and Bible strategies for the battles you face? If not, I hope you’ll dig in. The Bible has great things to say about how you can have victory.
