I’m no dog trainer, but I’ve learned that puppies are much better behaved if you wear them out. Otherwise, they go a little nuts!
People aren’t puppies, but we all need to be busy doing the right stuff.
2 Thessalonians 3:11 says, “For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.”
When we aren’t busy doing right, it gets easier to be tempted to do wrong. They wouldn’t have had as much time to gossip if they had been diligently working the way they should have been.
We need to stay so busy doing right that it’s harder to do wrong.
