OK, this was not much of a magic trick or science demonstration. Even the girls were pretty unimpressed. But hopefully it makes a valuable point.
Matthew 15:18-19 says, “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:”
Our hearts are not naturally good. We shouldn’t want to give voice to every thought we have or every wrong desire in our hearts. We’re going to have some messed up stuff coming out of our lives unless we allow Jesus to change us at salvation and lead, guide, and change us every single day.
