We like our “church bat”!
Don’t worry: he only comes around once in a while and is always long gone by morning.
We have that metal and the ribbons up to keep swallows from nesting there, but all that doesn’t seem to bother the bat!
I’m always impressed by how it sleeps face down ready to fly if needed.
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
If we knew the date Jesus was coming back, we’d get a plan ready to prepare. But since we don’t know the date, our job is to be constantly ready, constantly prepared. We are to live with that hope and motivation always on our minds.
