Getting ready for a trip can be overwhelming at times (I hate packing! Thankfully Jen does a great job with it!). The details can be dizzying and even scary, especially with traveling to another country (even if it is only to our “neighbor to the north.”) Thankfully we can have peace even when details are out of our control. 

Psalms 56:3 says, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”

We can trust God because He has a plan, and He’s always good. 

And that’s true all the time, not just when we’re afraid.  We can trust God when we feel anxious, stressed, or excited. How about we just trust God all the time?! It’s easy to get lost in the details of life, especially when those details are difficult, but God is always in control and always trustworthy.
