We had to hike to get to this view…all the way from the parking lot!🤣 In fact we had to walk all the way ACROSS the Appalachian Trail (much easier than actually hiking it😏 We did do 2 miles later though). That view definitely would’ve been worth a much longer hike to get there.
Some things are worth the effort; others just aren’t.
Isaiah 55:1-2 says, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.”
There are a lot of things that we can live for, but most of them are a waste of time and just not worth it. They’ll never satisfy. Let’s let God decide what’s best for us to live for.
