I miss Brooklyn’s little afro! We were just talking about those times she got to brush her hair up big when she was younger. But now if she started to say “messy hair don’t care” every day, it would be a problem!
James 1:22-24 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.”
When we look at a mirror and see something that needs fixed, it would be weird to do nothing to fix our hair or wash our face or whatever.
In the same way, looking into God’s Word will show us ways to grow, things for us to change. The question is: Are we willing?
