Singing? Reading the Bible? Spending quiet time alone with God?
Worship is showing how worthy God is of our attention, focus, and devotion.
There are many ways to worship God, and I hope we’ll all spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in church with fellow worshippers.
We are made to worship, and worship was so important to King David that he gave people the full-time job of singing in worship to God. 1 Chronicles 6:31 says, “And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.”
And worship shouldn’t be limited to church or Sundays. We should show how worthy God is all day every day.
Singing is meaningless if we aren’t living it out. God won’t be pleased by our Bible study if it never reaches our heart or affects our feet.
With every song and every decision, let’s worship our great God today.
