Fun trip to NYC, but it’s amazing that no one even seems to notice you there in the “big city”!

FAO Schwarz, It’s Sugar, Times Square, and a Broadway play (even getting to sit with our friend Aunt Dee!) made for a great first trip to New York for Addison and Brooklyn!

But walking through Manhattan, it does feel like the only people who even glance at you are the ones who want you to buy whatever they’re selling.

I’m thankful that Jesus notices us AND offers us the greatest thing ever—salvation through faith in Him. And it’s free!

Even when no one seems to notice you, remember that our Savior does.

1 Chronicles‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭says, “And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth, the Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite, and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,”

This part of the Bible (and several other parts) kinda sound like just a bunch of names that we don’t have much reason to pay attention to or care about.

But I’m glad God cares about them.

There’s a lot of Godly family background behind those people. Some followed God. Others completely rejected God. How sad that some of those names even grew into whole people groups that fought against God and God’s people!

God cared about each one, but each had a choice.

It’s not about where you come from.

It’s not about what everyone around you is doing.

It’s about a choice. God chose you. Will you choose Him?

No matter who you are, no matter where you go, even when no one seems to notice you, I hope you’ll always know that Jesus loves you. He sees you. He wants what’s best for you. Why not repent and believe on Him as Savior?

And if you have, make sure you’re not ignoring Him in any part of your life today.
