When life tries to pull you apart

Fun little bubbles experiment with the girls! Make a square out of bendable straws, put it in some bubble solution, then put a string tied in a circle in it. The string kind of looks like a blob until you pop the bubble in the middle. Then the surface tension of the rest of the bubble pulls it into a perfect circle. The tension trying to pull the string apart actually makes it better.

What’s even more amazing is that life’s tension can do the same thing for us.

When life tries to pull you apart, God can use those circumstances to make you more like Jesus.

Romans 8:28-29 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

And when life tries to pull you apart, God can use those circumstances to put your life into just the right shape to spread the message of hope and salvation through Jesus.

Philippians 1:12 says, “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;”

As one song describes it, “Your world's not falling apart, it's falling into place.”
