It’s like 2 different languages!

Mac or PC: Which do you prefer? I’m on a PC more these days but end up working on both a lot (and even at the same time occasionally!). It can be confusing to go back and forth between the two. It really is like they each have their own language (and I guess technically they do).

Sometimes there’s also a “language barrier” as people try to learn more about God and read the Bible for themselves.

In Acts 8, God sent Philip to share his faith with a guy from Ethiopia who needed a little help understanding what Isaiah was saying in the Old Testament. Verses 30-31 say, “And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.”

Philip showed how Isaiah was looking forward to Jesus, and the Ethiopian trusted Jesus as his personal Savior.

Every single Christian can tell people about Jesus. Every Christian can invite people to church. We can all do our part to make sure everyone hears about Jesus.

People may learn all they know about Jesus from you or me. What are we telling them?
