Awesome awaits…well maybe!

We had a great time at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center where this sign is, so I guess the sign is true enough there.  Sometimes things don’t live up to the hype. Other times they do. And sometimes it’s up to us because different perspectives bring different results.

After being freed from Egyptian slavery, the Israelites sent 12 spies into the Promised Land to scout out the situation. They all saw giants and a lot of military opposition. 10 of the spies were ready to cower in fear. Only 2 (Caleb and Joshua) were ready to trust God and move forward.

Numbers 13:30-31 says, “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.”

Some people let problems stop every possibility.

Or bad things stop every potential good thing.

Of course the Israelites were no match for their enemies…on their own. But their enemies were no match for Israel’s God Who really is the one and only true God.

And He’s the same God Who wants to support us in some amazing ways if we’ll just trust Him and move ahead instead of letting obstacles stop us.
